Paint and PPF
One 3M coating for painted surfaces and paint protection film, applied in two coats. 3M approves it on top of 3M paint protection film. We inspect the surface first and tell you what to expect on your finish, including matte and satin.

Glass
On glass, 3M pairs the coating with its 3M™ Glass Pre-Treatment for a slick layer that’s easier to keep clean.

Wheels
3M lists wheels among the surfaces its coating protects, so brake dust and grime wash off more easily.

3M’s coating can also go on exterior trim and headlights. Planning to coat a vinyl wrap? Check with us first, because 3M’s 2080 wrap warranty excludes ceramic coatings.

3M Ceramic Coating is available for paint, film, wheels and glass. Pricing is tailored to your selected surfaces and vehicle condition. Paint polishing or correction, if needed, is quoted separately after inspection.
A coating seals in whatever is underneath it, swirl marks included. That’s why we inspect the paint before quoting any polishing.

Wash
A thorough wash removes loose dirt and grime.

Decontamination
We remove bonded contaminants so the coating bonds to a clean surface.

Inspection
We inspect the paint closely. If polishing or correction would help, we quote it separately before doing any of that work.

Coating
We apply two coats of 3M Ceramic Coating to the surfaces you chose.

Cure
3M’s coating cures in about 4 hours, so most coating-only visits are same day. We’ll tell you how long to keep each surface dry.
Maintenance
Keeping it looking right
Hand wash with a soft mitt and a pH-neutral soap, out of direct sunlight.
Dry fully with a clean microfiber towel or an air blower so minerals don’t leave water spots.
Skip automatic car washes. They can scratch and wear down the coating.
Never use abrasive polishes or harsh cleaners on the coating.
Top it up with 3M™ Ceramic Boost, 3M’s maintenance spray for coated surfaces.
Durability
Up to five years
3M rates its Ceramic Coating as durable up to five years with proper care. That’s 3M’s durability rating, not a warranty. How long it lasts on your car depends on how it’s driven, washed and stored.
